Delete your Endear account
You can start deletion inside the app or from the web. Deletion removes your profile from Endear and blocks product access.
In-app deletion
- Open Endear.
- Go to Profile/Settings.
- Open Account & Safety.
- Choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Web deletion request
If you cannot access the app, email support@joinendear.com with the subject "Endear account deletion request." Use the email address or phone number associated with your Endear account. Endear may verify ownership before acting on the request.
What deletion does
- Blocks product access.
- Removes or anonymizes profile, onboarding, matching, preference, and contact-sharing records where possible.
- Queues profile photo objects for deletion from storage.
- Signs the account out where technically possible.
What may be retained
Some safety, fraud, financial, legal, backup, and audit records may be retained without public profile or contact details. Examples include payment/entitlement records, report/block/moderation records, legal holds, backup copies until rotation, and records needed to prevent abuse or comply with law.
Payments and subscriptions
Deleting an Endear account does not automatically cancel Apple or Google subscriptions, refund purchases, or change app-store billing obligations. Manage subscriptions and refund requests through the app store where the purchase was made.
Timing
In-app deletion blocks product access immediately when successful. Some backend cleanup, object deletion, backup rotation, vendor deletion, and legal review tasks may take additional time.
